Because we're a charity, we make a deduction from each Community Seller donation processed to offset credit card charges, bank fees and other expenses. Our deduction is based on the size of the donation; the percentage gets smaller as the donation gets bigger. We never take more than 20% of any donation and on average our deduction is about 10%.
