  • You and your supporters will receive fee credits whenever you sell an item for your charity.
  • Every listing that benefits your charity:
  • Includes your logo and mission statement, promoting your charity on eBay.co.uk
  • Is marked with the charity ribbon Charity Ribbon, attracting extra customers!
  • How it works

  • 1. Your charity registers with MissionFish.
  • 2. Your supporter lists an item on eBay, choosing a percentage of the sale price to donate.
  • 3. If the item sells, the seller is paid and posts the item to the buyer.
  • 4. MissionFish collects the donation from the seller, claims Gift Aid on your behalf, and passes the money on to your charity, making a small deduction to cover costs.
  • You have the right to veto any unsuitable listings.
  • Don't forget to tell people!

  • With thousands of charities registered, your donors need to know they can support you.
  • Here’s how to tell them:
  • 1. Tell your supporters to pick your organisation as their favourite charity to see when their buying and selling on eBay.  They can make this selection on the ‘My Favourite Charities’ page in their eBay Donation Account.

  • 2. Link from your website to your About My Charity page.  Include information about eBay for Charity on your website.

  • 3. Thank donors who list items for your charity with our sample thank you email.
  • Other ways to receive donations

  • Give at Checkout: donations from eBay shoppers
  • When paying via PayPal, eBay shoppers have the option to add a small donation to their eBay purchases, regardless of whether the item originally sold for charity.
  • Shoppers can choose which charity they see in eBay checkout on the 'My Favourite Charities' page in their Donation Account, or opt to donate to a featured charity.
  • They can add your charity as a Favourite by visiting your "About My Charity" page on eBay, and clicking the "Save as Favourite" button.
