Donation refund policy
- updated 29 March 2006
- We hope that all of your eBay for Charity transactions are successful. However, we know from experience that sometimes transactions on eBay aren't completed as intended. To protect community sellers in such cases, we may offer you a donation refund (if you have already made your donation) or we may forgive your donation (if you have not yet paid).
- Donation refunds are governed by the following rules:
- There are two circumstances when a refund is possible:
If you have an unpaid item transaction on eBay (non-paying bidder).
If you and the buyer mutually agreed to terminate the transaction. - In order to receive a donation refund you must submit a request using our refund request form within 45 days of the end of your listing on eBay (your eBay Transaction Date). We will not approve refunds requested after 45 days.
- You must also apply for and receive a final value fee credit from eBay in order to receive a donation refund from MissionFish.
- Once we verify with eBay that your final value fee credit was granted, we will approve your donation refund and either return your money (if you have paid) or forgive the amount due (if you have not paid).
- Refunds are always returned using the original method of payment. If you make your donation by credit card, your refund will be returned to the same credit card.
- If you tick the "I will not need a refund from MissionFish" declaration when making your donation, you will not be eligible to request or receive a refund in any case.
