The MissionFish Guarantee
- MissionFish works hard to ensure that every donation we receive is passed on as intended. Whether you're buying or selling an eBay item, benefiting from an eBay for Charity listing, or making a cash donation via PayPal, you can be confident that we're looking after you every step of the way.
- By keeping a close eye on the giving process, MissionFish ensures that:
- Every participating organisation's charitable status has been verified, and meets our community standards.
- Every buyer knows which organisation will benefit from a listing, and how much will be donated.
- Every seller makes the donation that they promised or a £1 minimum donation and Gift Aid is reclaimed when declared.
- Every donation reaches a charity as intended.
- As a registered charity (No. 1110538), MissionFish aims to cover its costs by retaining part of the donations it receives. We have no shareholders and any surpluses we generate are reinvested in fulfilling our charitable purposes, either by issuing grants to UK charities or by investing in our services for those charities.
- Our deduction is based on the type of donation made, and is never more than 9% or £100 in total. We do not charge any set-up fee or annual subscription fee to charities for registering with MissionFish to receive donations.
