  • eBay Giving Works Charity Ribbon eBay for Charity relaunched this week!

  • 1 June 2008
  • We have improved eBay for Charity, making it simpler than ever for eBay.co.uk's users to support charity whenever they buy and sell.
  • eBay sellers will be able to donate to charity in two clicks when listing their item. They will also be able to pay and manage donations easily from within their eBay accounts.
  • What's new?

  • For Sellers:
  • We have lowered the minimum donation to £1 per listing
  • Sellers’ My MissionFish accounts have moved into My eBay
  • Sellers can now make donations using the automatic payment method they have on file with eBay, e.g. PayPal, a Credit Card or Direct Debit. MissionFish will then collect the donation and pass it onto their chosen charity
  • For charities:
  • You need to accept revised and simplified terms and conditions when you first sell on eBay
  • Continue to manage eBay donors through a dedicated MissionFish account
  • Continue to register (free of charge) with MissionFish to use eBay for Charity
  • Check out the 'Fundraise' pages on the MissionFish website to get ideas on how to promote eBay for Charity to supporters.
